To Phil's subscribers. Phil might be "unique and focused," but he is on point with the humility of his salvation in Christ. I strongly encourage you to schedule watching "The Blind" when it is released. If it is anything like his writings, it is bound to be an eternal box-office hit. www.TheBlindMovie.com

“This is my life work: helping people understand and respond to this Message. It came as a sheer gift to me, a real surprise, God handling all the details. When it came to presenting the Message to people who had no background in God’s way, I was the least qualified of any of the available Christians. God saw to it that I was equipped, but you can be sure that it had nothing to do with my natural abilities. And so here I am, preaching and writing about things that are way over my head, the inexhaustible riches and generosity of Christ. My task is to bring out in the open and make plain what God, who created all this in the first place, has been doing in secret and behind the scenes all along. Through followers of Jesus like yourselves gathered in churches, this extraordinary plan of God is becoming known and talked about even among the angels!”

Greetings, once again, brother Phil, from northeast Tennessee! Thank you for your encouraging Good News article of yesterday. I too stand with the Lord. As I've said for years, “I stand with the Lord. All who stand with Him agree. The opinions of others don't bother me.” The conclusion of Ecclesiastes rings true.

Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil. (Eccl. 12:13-14, NIV)

Chapters three and four of the apostle Paul's second letter to the Corinthians include his eloquent and inspired remarks about his ministry (or the ministry of any Christian). In those chapters, the apostle Paul stated:

Such confidence we have through Christ before God. Not that we are competent in ourselves to claim anything for ourselves, but our competence comes from God. He has made us competent as ministers of a new covenant . . . . (2 Cor. 3:4-6, NIV)

And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. (2 Cor. 3:18, NIV)

But we have this [Gospel] treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us. (2 Cor. 4:7, NIV)

The reading of those entire chapters is encouraged. They are rich with inspired wisdom.

Carry on, brother Phil! As the apostle Paul wrote to the Philippians, “. . . he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus (Phil. 1:6, NIV).

Thank you for the encouraging words.

During this season His grace has helped me while dealing health issues.

His joy has been my strength. And it is fun splattering joy on others. They are asking how I can be so upbeat. 🙂 So they get their answer why.

God is good and faithful.
