I believe that God grants us wisdom as we get older. And with that wisdom comes some responsibility to share the good news and your insights with others. Your post today fulfills that God imposed obligation Phil and I want to thank you for it. Amazing clarity that I believe only comes from someone blessed with God's wisdom. Bless you my brother!

Thank you for sharing this great reading. I’m a believer in our God, the one and only. I just finished my rosary, and to draw off your ready is a perfect ending to my prayers today. It makes me feel closer to God our Father. Religion doesn’t matter, I’m not to good at praying either, hence why I say my rosary to feel closer to God and his mother. I bought your bible and I read your books… God is certainly with you, Phil Robertson. Thank you.

Wow... I love how God always manages to bring a lesson home no matter where in scripture you read. My sinful pride gets in the way of Jesus being able to use me with some of my family members. I just happened to read proverbs 7 regarding how we need to avoid sin which seems so seductive at first, but just tears you up as you go. Psalm 18 praising God for deliverance. Psalm 19 trusting in God enough to know that I don’t have the strength on my own to avoid sin, so please, cleanse me from unintentional sin and keep me back from intentional sin. Don’t let sin dominate in my life...

And now Philippians 2:5-8, the reminder of how my beautiful, immense, all powerful creator of the universe humbled Himself to the state of a man and further humbled Himself to obedience unto death for my sins. And I get indignant over some minor demands placed in me by unbelievers?!? O Lord, forgive me and give me the strength to be a servant to these people in the hope that they may see Your light and be saved and that I may show them even a little if the mercy You have shown me.

Phil, your writing is amazing. Every day I marvel at God's creation. Just yesterday, there was a huge swarm of honeybees that settled in my holly tree out front. Immediately I thought of the Duck Dynasty episode with the bees and the boys and the shop vac. Anyway, I was fortunate enough to have a neighbor who is a bee keeper. He came over with a box and captured the hive by simply removing the basketball sized swarm one handfull at a time. The point is - as we observed the marvel of this experience, we both sang praises to God for His wonderous creation. This gave us a moment to ponder the reality that things like bees just didn't happen or evolve - they truly were created by our Lord and Master and part of His plan. We need to take time each day to observe the "simple" things around us - bees, flowers, trees, etc., and realize they aren't simple but complicated, well thought out creations. In doing so, we should be in awe of our own bodies and be humbled by the fact that God is quite the engineer.
