You're not alone Phil, I pray constantly that we turn our hearts around and make this country all that it can be. I have always been a believer deep down but like Peter have denied Jesus and run with Satan. Recent retirement and the pandemic gave me the opportunity to read the Bible and return to a solid belief in Christianity. Voices like yours, Alan and Jase are helping to guide me on this journey, thank y'all for what you do and may God bless you.

"Wake up, America!" Many true followers of Christ affirm your words, brother Phil! I am one. This once great nation must return to biblical values -- or face the "Socialist Utopian Oblivion" that is coming. Free will decision is the key. Chose wisely, folks!

I like what the first verse of Galatians 5 says: Galatians 5:1 It was for freedom that Christ set us free; therefore keep standing firm and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.

We have had a lot of young men and women die for the cause of freedom.

I see a great sense of patriotism and along with it some sense of godliness although not quite the revival level, in my opinion.

Thanks for your ministry and words. I have been a follower of your Unashamed. podcast.

Humility in knowing who I am, admitting it to (agreeing with) God, accepting His provision for reconciliation(Jesus Christ), and continuing to 'course-correct' according to His Word and Holy Spirit each day. The Lord's Prayer is such a great reminder to me. This blog post also gives me hope. Thx Phil.

I'm pretty much on board with everything you have to say, but I am a bit wary about quoting 2 Chronicles 7:14 as so many do. I am a firm believer that scripture needs to be interpreted within context and I am pretty sure this blessing was specifically for Israel at the time it was penned. I am not saying that God cannot bless or withhold blessings from a nation, but could these blessings be an Old Testament principle? And if so, does God deal with us today individually and corporately within His invisible Kingdom of Heaven based on New Testament principles? Something to ponder.
