Keep this stuff coming Phil; and please tell Jase i just watched his 1st episode of his new show, thought it was great!!

You do have a knack of saying things that get our minds thinking in the right direction; We all have such a long way to go in our walks ;-- But PTL, Jesus is right their holding our hands, and helping us every step of the way!!

OK;-- Know this;-- Jesus had been tempted in all points just like we are;-- here is a good explanation.

Hebrews 4:14-15 (NLT2)

14 So then, since we have a great High Priest who has entered heaven, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold firmly to what we believe.

15 This High Priest of ours understands our weaknesses, for he faced all of the same testing’s we do, yet he did not sin. ------------ --------------- ---------------------------------- ------------- ----------

You see;-- In one sense, he’s like all of us—he has endured incredible temptation, suffering, and hardship.

Yet, in another, he’s like none of us—he has never sinned. Therefore, he is the perfect high priest. He can sympathize with us in our weakness and suffering. -----

Yet, since he resisted completely, he can also help us.

And this is a big one to get down;-- God loves us more than we love ourselves. His plans for us are better than our plans for ourselves.

We need to get this down there is suffering in following Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:12

But then again listen to this;--

Romans 8:16-18 (NASB)

16 The Spirit Himself testifies with our spirit that we are children of God,

17 and if children, heirs also, heirs of God and fellow heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him so that we may also be glorified with Him.

18 For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory that is to be revealed to us. --------------- --------------- ------------------------- -------------- ----------------

God does not Lie; We just need to hang in there a little longer!!

I too was one of those and a preacher’s son who saw the very worst that ‘God’s People’ could right down to threatening to beat up my father. As a boy of 12, that had a very profound effect on me. I ran from God until He caught me and wrapped those loving, forgiving arms around a lost PK who had gotten into a lot of bad stuff. His grace and mercy was so much greater than my sin! Praise God. Thank you, Phil for a good word about our Great Father.

That was a great lesson for all of us Phil! I know I’ve seen a lot of people start thinking they are better yhan this person over there because of the sin in that persons life and they tend to forget that God has forgiven that so called righteousness person of their sin and they think God won’t forgive the other persons sin. They are playing into satans hands.

Yes Phil. It truly is sad when you go into churches or even in public “Christians” can fling judgement at others when they have done something wrong or how God is using certain situation to punish people for what they are doing. I was raised in a Catholic home like that but thank God I came to know Him at 18 and haven’t looked back. I still struggle with condemnation at times because of that but reading stuff like this shakes me out of those lies.
