“Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, The days fashioned for me, When as yet there were none of them.”
I read through my Bible each year and yet when you share this message I feel I haven’t read this before. God’s Word is alive! Thank you for this message
Good word, Phil. Go back to check on Psalm 90:12. you are correct about the "teach us to number our days" comment being in the Psalms but it is actually a quote of the prayer of Moses, not David. Just trying to help.
And another thing, naked we comme to this world and naked we Will leave this world,so all the things on earth should not be are desire, but Christ, to be face to face wiht Him for all eternety, WOW,!!!!!!
As usual, you provide such profound words of wisdom. I,too, am in my "golden years" and become more aware of my mortality eaxch day. Phil, it's true what you said about life being a blur. I look back and say "Where did the time go?" I try to prepare my mind and spirit for the time when I am called home. I look forward to the day I meet Jesus face to face and I hope he tells me "Well done thy good and faithful servant."
WOW, I was needing that word. Getting old ain’t for sissy’s, but getting old without Jesus is an eternal death sentence!
Thank you God the Father and thank you Phil. I know the greatest decision I ever made was accepting Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior !! !!

Excellent writing. I’m with you in total agreement Phil. I’ll be 75 in February. We watch Unashamed every chance we get. God bless!

Well said, Phil!! Realizing the brevity of life on earth SHOULD make us form the BEST priority--living for the Lord and bringing others to Him.
At 68 I feel exactly the same way.
Amen, thank you for sharing the wisdom you’ve gained. Your faith is moving. God bless you
