Thank you Phil for these examples. God is who we should focused on and closest to. Christians need to see the world from Gods perspective not the world view. We need to know God is fully in charge and our faith has to be stronger than ever.
I am listening to the Unashamed Podcast and completely memorized by how you share the Word as if I'm right there with you in the living room, having a great discussion about how awesome God is! This particular post was spot on, just like all the others. The world is spiraling downward morally because of their rejection of God, but we know Him who is so worthy of praise just for Who He is, let alone how he so cares for us and shows us all the time!!!! Praise Him!!!!!!! He is worth it!!!!
From a “Christian” worldview, revival is supposedly about restoring the believer's relationship with Jesus Christ via the Holy Spirit through repenting of what breaks our fellowship with Him. However, since the word revival is not in the Bible, we must examine the ideology OF a revived heart in Christ. Phil, the world is a mess, but God is not. We need to set our affections on things above - not on the earth.
Thanks for sharing, God is Sovereign over all and he is in charge, not humans, not government. He is our Hope, we need not fear. As Christians our Hope is eternal, thank you Jesus for Salvation. Our opportunity now is to be the light, May people see the reason for our Hope, Jesus, People are looking for the Hope we have, that you have. Let’s Share that Hope. Keeping looking up.
